E.V.S. VOLUNTEER SEMINARS
Part of your E.V.S. is a series of seminars that you will attend. These seminars are based on non-formal education techniques and methodologies and although there are some guidelines for the national agencies on why, what, how, each seminar varies on its emphasis, intensity and duration.

In a way, participating in these seminars is both your right and responsibility. One thing we know... if you miss them, you will be mising a...'big thing'....discussions, working groups, games, energizers, networking, reflection groups, new people, new cultures, new ideas, fun!

In Greece, the organiser of these seminars is the Hellenic National Agency. There is also a poole of trainers that are experienced youth trainers and are always giving their best for your benefit!

Pre-Departure Seminar
This seminar is organised by the national agency of your country for the volunteers before departing to the host country. Its aim is to give you the necessary information and increase your interest and motivation.

On-Arrival Seminar
Welcome to Greece! A welcoming seminar that is there to reinforce the necessary information, create an informal network of the inbound volunteers, 'push' you towards the first steps of integration to the Greek community and realities and motivate you to make the most out of this experience.

Mid-Term Seminar
This seminar will be happening at the middle of your project. This is a meeting that gives volunteers the opportunity to exchange their experience, reflect on it, realise what has E.V.S. been for them and of course, reinforce contacts!
Final Evaluation

Once you are back at your home country, your national agency will organise this seminar whose aim is to evaluate the E.V.S. experience, focused on the volunteer in order to proceed to more participation, activation and the creation of new projects.
