The youth cards encourage young people to travel and try out new opportunities throughout Europe – and to do this as cheaply as possible.
As a volunteer you will receive a personal EURO<26 youth card that you can use for many, many discounts in 42 European countries!

With the card you are one of 4 million young card holders in Europe. The card may have a different name in each country (Carte Jeunes, Jugendkarte, Carnet Joven, Karta Mladice, Carta Giovani, etc.) but it always has the same EURO <26 logo with our mascot, Hercules, juggling the stars of Europe. Wherever you go, look out for this logo in museums, shops, restaurants, etc!

The card you receive as volunteer is a special limited edition for EVS Volunteers and it is a gift from the European Commission.

In most cases you can also use your EURO <26card in your own country, but the card doesn’t yet exist in all 47 European countries. (In Albania, Azerbaijan, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, FYROM, Norway there is currently no youth card.) But we are working hard to introduce them there as soon as possible!

If for any reason you have not received your EURO26 card, you have lost it or it has been stolen you can reapply for it online by visiting www.euro26.org.
